For the past few years, in fact since 1995, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, has been hard at work to make sure that the United States of America does not in any shape or form enter into any agreement with Iran regarding the Iran’s Nuclear program.
Mr. Netanyahu has shamelessly lied to the United States Congress back in September 2002 when he was a private citizen after losing his election as prime minister of Israel, by making the absolute statement that Iran was a year away from having Nuclear Bomb. That never happened.
Mr. Netanyahu again made the same allegations in September 2012 in front of the General Assembly at the United Nations and showed that Mickey Mouse drawing of a bomb and again stating that Iran is one year away from having bomb.
Mr. Netanyahu, again in early March 2015 at the invitation of the Speaker of the House, Mr. Boehner, spoke to the Congress and warned Americans that Iran is close to having a nuclear bomb. He made this statement despite the fact that all of the top intelligence community in Israel which included Mussed had advised him that Iran is not engaged in any activities that leads to having a nuclear bomb.
Mr. Netanyahu, has consistently used fear tactics to scare Americans as well as his own fellow citizens that Iran is going to destroy Israel, even though there has never been any proof Iran being engaged in nuclear weapon program. Even couple of years ago, the US intelligence agencies advised the Congress that Iran never had and does not have any plan to develop any nuclear bomb.
The Americans wrongfully believe that Israel is the most important ally of the US. This is far from the truth. Israeli government has consistently spied on America and has stolen very sensitive military secrets.
Mr. Netanyahu’s main goal is to engage United States in a war with Iran and create another chaos in that region, so the rest of the world be distracted from the Palestinian issue. If there is no other distraction in that region, then the world would focus on the matter of the Palestinians’ statehood. That is something that Mr. Netanyahu does not want to deal with.
The Americans wrongfully believe that Israel is the most important ally of the US. This is far from the truth. Israeli government has consistently spied on America and has stolen very sensitive military secrets. The most notorious spy who is currently serving life sentence is Federal prison is Mr. Pollard who back in 1980’s was caught spying for Israel. The volume of secret documents that he sent to Israel was a pallet of letter size paper which was 5ft wide x 5ft long x 5ft high. Since his trial and subsequent conviction, every Israeli prime minister has tried hard to get him out of prison, but to no avail.
We learned recently that Israel has been spying on the US and Iran negotiation and sharing very sensitive information with the Republican leaders who vehemently oppose any agreement with Iran. One wonders how one of the closest allies of the US could act so destructively against her best ally in that region!! Undoubtedly, Israel has given a new meaning to the word “friendship”.
Mr. Netanyahu’s reckless and destructive behavior is beyond any comprehension. It seems that Mr. Netanyahu has only one interest in mind and that is being prime minister of Israel and being in the spotlights. He does not even care about the People of Israel, because had he truly be caring, then he would not be working so hard to bring another war in that region which would jeopardize the lives and interests of Israelis as it would undoubtedly drag Israel into a direct conflict with Iran.
Enough with war mongering and crying wolf speeches. Too many people have been killed senselessly in the recent years and nothing was achieved and in fact has caused much instability and chaos resulting in break up few countries and mass exodus to the neighboring countries. Destruction is easy, but to rebuild is not. Countries have been literally destroyed and millions have been displaced, do we really need more of the same?
It is time to ignore the war mongerers and war profiteers and focus instead in building relationships, improving quality of lives for the people in those countries that are suffering of no fault of their own. Lifting people up and giving them hope for better future brings much more security than any wars has ever done so.
